The discussions in the first five areas use a typical output, with annotations, to demonstrate how a particular statistical technique is carried out with SPSS/win. The Command Sequence for implementing the specific procedure is presented before a discussion of the output. The Glossary of Statistical Terms provides a quick refresher of the meaning of key statistical concepts that underlie the technique under examination. Because notations in basic statistics and quantitative methods in general are not standardized completely across all the text books in the market, I plan to provide a table of statistical Notations and Formulas by topic areas.
